ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 17, 2019 — HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®) the premier credentialing organization for the human resource profession, and CORE HR & IR have joined forces to assist HR leaders in India.
CORE HR & IR is a renowned group focused on sharing innovative HR strategies. With experience organizing five signature events, they have created a cohesive networking platform for HR professionals across the globe. The group consists of HR stalwarts and professionals from companies representing Accenture, Amazon, The British Council, Cognizant and Nestle– sharing their experiences with the HR fraternity and shaping the country’s workforce.
For years, a select group of HR leaders in India have spearheaded the community of certification holders, addressing the benefits of a professional certification from a credentialing body, such as HRCI.
“We are excited to see new global interest and the development of HR expertise partnerships critical for business success in India. HRCI and CORE HR & IR’s alliance will greatly expand the reach of HRCI certifications and HR excellence in India," said HRCI Chief Business Development Officer David Meginley, GPHR.
This new alliance will allow HRCI to be more present in India, making an impact on current HRCI certification holders and creating the opportunity to expand HRCI certification in India. HRCI certificants in India are also encouraged to join CORE HR & IR events and activities and interact with other HR leaders.
Activities include coordination of webinars and networking opportunities and workshops to assist HR professionals with their professional development– keeping HRCI certification holders up-to-date with relevant HR issues in India and across the world.
“CORE HR & IR group started as a sharing platform for HR professionals world-wide. An alliance with HRCI, the premier HR credentialing organization dedicated to setting the standard for HR mastery and excellence around the globe will further strengthen our vision and enable HR professionals to exchange best practices, develop a network and improve the competitiveness and the overall value of their organizations,” said CORE HR & IR Partner Vir Bharat, SPHRi.
HR leaders in India have trusted and invested in HRCI credentials and in their own careers for years, particularly in the Senior Professional in Human Resources — International™ (SPHRi™) and Global Professional in Human Resources® (GPHR®).
The introduction of the Associate Professional in Human Resources –International™ (aPHRi™) allows the next generation of HR professionals to begin their careers with a professional certification that recognizes their awareness of current HR practices.
The newest credential has resulted in a more diverse population of certification holders looking for guidance in their career paths. In response to the demand, HRCI has partnered with CORE HR & IR, to provide improved access to the professional development needs of this population.
