Processing Time of Recertification Applications
It takes approximately four to six weeks for the HR Certification Institute to review recertification applications. We encourage you to submit your recertification application early to avoid any processing delays. You may submit your application and the recertification fee as soon as you’ve accumulated your required 60 credit hours; as long as we receive your application on or before your end date, your certification will not lapse.

Once your application has been reviewed by the HR Certification Institute’s recertification specialists, you will be notified that either your application has been approved or that we need additional information. Thank you for your patience.
