The Institute’s core products–the PHR, SPHR and GPHR certification programs–have been awarded a five-year accreditation by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
The Institute received accreditation by submitting an application that demonstrates the programs’ compliance with the NCCA Standards for the Accreditation of Certification Programs , considered the highest quality standards in professional certification. NCCA and its parent organization, the National Organization for Competency Assurance, work to ensure the health, welfare and safety of the public through the accreditation of certification programs that assess professional competence.
The PHR, SPHR and GPHR accreditations underscore the HR Certification Institute’s work in the public interest to establish and enforce education, examination, experience and ethics requirements for certification.
