Among HR professionals—

• 44% report that certified HR professionals create a positive impact on their organizations’ financial performance.
• 50% say hiring managers consider a job candidate’s certification status when making decisions on whom to interview—or hire—for HR positions.
• 50% report that their company prefers HR-certified job candidates when hiring for exempt-level HR positions.
• 48% say their company believes that hiring HR-certified professionals gives them a competitive advantage.

Among certified HR professionals—

• 56% experience greater collaboration between HR and senior management, compared with 38% of those who are not certified.
• 59% say their organization encourages HR professionals to pursue certification, and 78% of these say their organization will pay for the certification exam. In contrast, only 34% of non-certified HR professionals report that their company encourages certification, with 55% of these saying it covers the exam cost.
